Around a decade ago, Anton’s wife Kiing asked him to make her a desk. A simple request, but like plumbers and leaking taps and cobblers and shoes it seems a furniture maker’s wife is destined to have an off-the-rack desk. After a house move and a pandemic, Anton compromised with a nice Laminex-topped temporary desk and eventually started tinkering away in his spare time. And then he couldn’t stop.

The result is this minutely-detailed heirloom piece, made from two boards of highly Fiddleback Silver Wattle with Huon Pine details.
